((Hope you don't mind me posting a new thread! I needed a place to put an intro, and wanted to be in Twilight Town))
The air was chilly, a sea-smell in the air. The sand lie still, nothing disturbing the calmness of the purple sunset. The water was blue and calm, though stirred every now-and-then when a small fish jumped or the waves came tumbling onto shore. The sky was orange, filled with a strange calm, always evident.
A single wolf lie on the sands of the vast ocean located in Twilight Town, a fine place to be. His medium fur ruffled in the wind, ears swiveling around as his nose twitched, gathering a scent. His tail flicked in happiness as he looked at the sun going down behind the waters, wondering if he was needed anywhere.
This was Demyx, a XIII wolf in a large Organization with many other wolves. A smile played at his lips as he watched the birds drift across the scene before him, riding the winds of sorrow and happiness crammed together. He didn't like the often violent ways of a pack, so he often hanged by himself, though hanged with his best mates every now and then.
He sighed, heaving himself up, the blue on his pelt reflection the remains of the sun. He turned, a portal of black and purple colors appeared in front of him. A portal of darkness. He entered, and came out at the train station, waiting patiently for his train back to the main areas of Twilight Town, wondering if anyone was at the mansion or on the grassy plains of that beautiful, Sunset Hill.

Riku appeared in Twilight Town and he looked dazed to see light. He limped through the sand, leaving small tracks of blood. He wondered if Nox and Saphir had arrived yet and about that blind wolf. He trembled thinking about anything that was related to that castle, Hollow Bastion. Riku looked around to smell a new scent. A new scent...the scent of wolf.
Riku limped slowly into the water, feeling it cool his sore pads and legs. He looked into the water to see himself. He looked battered up and broken. A hurt back leg, claw marks all over his body, and a torn up maw. He looked to be in pretty bad shape. Riku bent his ears back and raised him scared up maw to the sunset sky, and howled.

Saphir arrived close by Riku's position. She appeared just as his howl broke out. Ears flattening against her head, she shuddered at the sound and then looked around. No Nox. No Nox? He had been right beside her to begin with.
Sighing, she started out toward Riku, following the trail his wounds had set. "Nox is gone," she barked, trying to make her voice heard over the howl.

Riku looked at Saphir. "Gone? What do you mean gone?" He had a bit of worry in his tone. He wanted to go back to help him but he'd slow things down. Riku sighed and then looked back into the water at himself again. Blood was dripping in the reflection, making it ripple. "I smell another wolf near." He looked at Saphir and then to look at a strange wolf near.

"He was right beside me when we went in the portal," Saphir explained, her eyes narrowed slightly. "but after that, he was just gone. I'm unsure if something happened..." Her voice trailed off as she thought of the possibilities.
She also thought of the fact that Riku did not know her name or that she and Nox were siblings. "Did I ever introduce myself properly?" she asked, her tone thoughtful. "My name is Saphir, in case I didn't."

Riku looked at Saphir and then barked back, "I don't think I have either. Riku." He looked back at the wolf and then walked slowly through the water, making it ripple. He approched the wolf near and looked at him and growled, "Who are you?"

Demyx tore his eyes away from the beautiful sunset, looking at the wolf before him. He stood, nodding his head to the wolf. "Demyx. You?" He asked, sizing the wolf up slightly. He looked behind this wolf, seeing another, he dipped his head in salutation to her. His eras twitched in slight excitement. /New wolves.../ He thought, looking back to the wolf he had introduced himself to.

Riku gazed at Demyx and then barked back halfhearted, "Riku." He looked at Saphir as Demyx dipped his head. He muttered so no one would hear him, "You didn't dip your head to me.' He then looked at Demyx once more. Riku had his leg lifted up, keeping it off the ground.

Saphir looked over at the other wolf and nodded back to him. "Saphir," she said, her voice bright in a way as she padded over to stand next to Riku. Her Keyblade was gone now, summoned away when she was sure there was no more danger. That was a nice thought.

OOC: Neopets suppended me again >.<. Don't ask what I did becase I didn't do anything wrong. Oh my gosh...
BIC: Riku glanced at Saphir then back at Demyx. 'I don't trust you, you may seem nice and all, but how can I trust you?' He thought to himself and he whispered to Saphir, "I don't trust him." He glaned back at Demyx and then stood in a tense pose. He wouldn't let his guard down, not even now.
